The term pocho is often used as a pejorative. But change is here. Pocho is no longer a term demeaning the Mexican American experience. It is a represntation of a culture influenced by particular environments.

I am a poxo: a pocho whose upbringing in the deep south texas border allowed me to be a Mexicano in America and American in Mexico.

I want to document different aspects of pocho within this website. We are pochos, but we are not the same.
